We are your Camp Hosts, Bill and Barbara. Our favorite campsite is on the shores of some beach somewhere on the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico. We like to camp on the beach between camp host contracts with the Army Corps of Engineers located in Granger,Texas USACE.

We really enjoy sharing our personal data base with our fellow camp hosts along with all the curious campers who visit our virtual campsite. Most of the caretaker, RV & camping tips, volunteer advice, solicitations, campsite reservations, with free classifieds, message board, email and our Camp Host US Newsletter-Blog may be viewed here. A whole bunch of useful information so..Just sit a spell, relax and enjoy the campfire as we get underway.

Our mission:The beauty of nature outside our window. The satisfaction of work well done. A campsite for our RV for free! Across the country, state parks offer over 200,000 campsites to millions of campers each year. They can't do it alone. Parks need the help of camp hosts who volunteer a few hours a week in exchange for a free campsite in some of the most scenic areas of the nation. Camp HosT US is your guide to becoming a part of this fun and rewarding opportunity. You'll find recommendations from experienced hosts to help you have the best hosting experience. Detailed information on opportunities, requirements, and contact information for every state. Side by side comparison info help match state offerings to your needs. Outline maps show the location of states within the USA. It is our intent to provide campers, campground hosts, volunteers, campground employers, property managers, caretakers and park owners, with an overview of helpful resources and direct job contacts available to them and to the larger RV and camping community. Please allow Camp Host US to serve as your guide into the adventurous world of camp hosting. This site contains a large amount of information and the camper should not attempt to see it all in just one visit. We urge you to save this campsite in your favorites, bookmark this website.
